Edric is a graduate of the program Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, Summa cum Laude, from De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines.  He is currently a licensed Chemical Engineer in the Republic of the Philippines, ranking second in the November 2009 licensure examinations.

While in the University, he had served as the Chair of the Council of Student Organizations.  He is also serves in his parish, St. Peter the Apostle Parish in Manila, Philippines.
